Choosing filters for Barnstead Diamond Lab Water Systems

Question

Time to buy replacement cartridges for my Banstead NanoPure Diamond Model D1193 The flow rate was very slow with the cartridges we had before So wondering if the flowrate could be improved with different cartriges my question is if you know or if there is a chart of relative flow rates back pressure or however the info is available Here are the s for the cartriges that will fit DIamond Kit Organic Free RO Distilled Feed D50280 UltraLow Organics Type 1 Water Reverse Osmosis or Distilled Water Feed DIamond Kit Organic Free Deionized Feed D50281 UltraLow Organics Type 1 Water Deionized Water Feed DIamond Kit Type 1 RO Distilled Feed D50282 Low Organics Type 1 Water Reverse Osmosis or Distilled Water Feed DIamond Kit Type 1 Deionized Feed D50283 Low Organics Type 1 Water DI DI Water Fee

Answer

On the diamond system only the pump, ultrafilter if you have one and the bacteria filter control the flow. As the bacteria/particulate filter or ultrafilter plugs, the flow rate will go down. Also if the pump if getting weak but is less likely.

The filter packs all flow the same rate. You pick a pack based on what type of water you are feeding the system with and how pure you need the water to be.
